The annual Hanging Nasturtiums display returned to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum on March 28, 2023. The brilliant orange flower vines cascaded from the third floor balconies into the courtyard and will stay there through April 16, 2023. The display is a year-long process, which includes potting and repotting the vines, growing the plants along the greenhouse walls at the Gardner’s South Shore Nursery, and transporting the vines back to the museum for the next year’s display.
